A Gorilla on a Bike? That's Mildly Interesting!

Gorillas on Bikes (or GOB for short), is an extremely casual ARMA 3 group. We understand two things about ARMA: that it should be fun, and that you need to work together.

We are a group of individuals who understand the meaning of “free time” and won’t waste it. Some of us are married, some of us are just in high school, but we all play together for love of the game.. Our name symbolizes our ideals and, hopefully, our membership -- something silly, a little unorthodox, mildly entertaining and somewhat competent.

There are some basic philosophies we follow:

1. We try not to judge a member based on their skill level. We tolerate all skill levels and, if the member is willing and cooperative, we will assist them in their gaming journey.

2. The only requirements to join GOB are to have a microphone and be willing to use Teamspeak, everything else comes secondary.

3. Extremely Casual doesn’t mean we don’t value the importance of planning, cooperation and teamwork… we just have a lot of fun doing it (and most of the time our plans unravel right before our eyes). Our goal is to complete cooperative missions and have fun doing it, sometimes the means of which are a little unorthodox.

4. We do not believe in having a website or a forum. We use this Steam community group to organize and do the rest of our discussion in Teamspeak. We don't want to clutter people's lives with the requirement of checking forums.
