Be honest, Valve kind of dropped the ball with the new event. There is no skill or effort in throwing money at cards. So how about a group vote for what we class for staying in the group? Logical options are either no Summer badge required, level 1 badge only required or level 5 good god what are you doing give this money to charity instead of something required.

I know this option hasn't been working for a lot of people but it seems they've gotten round to fixing it. Naturally everyone in this group gains achievements left right and centre so I'm sure I'll be seeing this on everybody's profile.

Time to complain about not being able to chose which achievements are displayed and swear at your hated games with 100s of achievements you will never unlock ruining your average game completion rate!

This update has been out for nearly 2 weeks now so I'm sure you all already know about. Let's hear some opinions.

Personally I really like the new profile layout and level system, it is just a shame the cards are only unlocked through going AFK and giving people money instead of earning them through certain achievements. Some of the backgrounds look great, the emotes not so much. Obviously I am not going to make everyone get every badge to level 5 to remain in the group (don't even get me started on foil badges) but if you are anything like me then you already have at least every game badge at level 1.

So I have just found out about the Steam Community Translator Badge which is based around helping Steam translate stuff and I'm not impressed. Even if it is still obtainable I'm in no mood to learn a second language and do free labor for the sake of a videogame badge that has nothing to do with videogames. The group is all about showing off 100% completion on the Steam events and it is sticking that way.

New badge and similar to the Steam Summer Sale 2012 badge this is another very easy one. You can already unlock the first stage of this one if you go out of your way but you wont be hitting 100% until at least 15 votes have passed.
