There's now an official G-mod Saves Community Discord server!

The aim of the G-mod Saves Community server is to try to provide a better way for save enjoyers/creators to communicate between one another, whilst giving everyone an arguably superior way to find good saves then the Garry's Mod workshop or Steam discussions. In-short: It's here to foster the community.

Now, to clarify: This does not mean that we'll be closing the saves group or anything like that, hell no. The server is merely going to be an alternative. And given the (relatively) large size of the saves community, it can only do us good to have multiple means of communication and content-sharing.

And for extra clarity: The "GMod Saves" group mod team was completely unaware of this. In-fact, barely anybody was aware that I was working on this other than GIGA and Drunk Headcrab, and obviously me. So, if any members of our current mod team would like to reclaim their role in the new server: Then feel free to shoot me a message using the "#💌dear-mods" room, and I'll try to bestow your rightful role upon you ASAP.

And for the first week of our servers' publication: We're going to be making getting into the server as easy as possible,

Save Making Challenge 9: ChoiceVille

You could say that there's been quite a gap between this entry and the last one. Let's fix that. So here we go again...

The Rules:

1. Your save must have some sort of choice making involved, such as diverging level paths, different endings Etc. But above all, your save(s) must NOT BE LINEAR!

2. You can use any addon or mountable games. Just make sure that you don't overdo it and make it so that the level only works on a if you have 20+ addons.

3. Make sure not to use any saves you were already working on. Well, we can't really check on that, but it's good to play fair and square.

Deadline:

This challenge will last for 2 weeks and will conclude on the 15th of November 2021, although if your save is almost done then we will have some leway and give you an extra day or two to finish off. Just don't abuse this.
After that, everyone will have until 22/11 to vote on all the saves and decide which one is the best. The entry (be it singular save or series) with the highest rating will be the winner.

Entry 1 - Pulling Force: Chapter One, the Remake by Monokma! Congrats!

The entries and their scores are listed below. I'm trying out something new, a "general consensus", where I'll take the most notable points from the judges and turn them into a brief but hopefully descriptive sentence.

First place - Pulling Force: Chapter One, the Remake - 21 points

"Cool aesthetics and fun but somewhat easy gameplay. Easy to get lost in though.

Second place - Escape from the Assault REMAKE - 18 points

Fun gameplay and good pacing, but doesn't really feel like a remake due to an overall lack of changes from the original.
