Fake Valve Employees still exist. Be warned

This person tried to scam all my items by saying that he was an official Valve employee, and that I have duped items or something.

These people will insist that you send them the item as soon as possible, and will send gifs, that look as if they are going to perma-ban you from Steam.

I was actually falling for it until I looked at his profile page and it had no official Valve badge on him. lmao I'm stupid I know.

Please do not fall for these scams, as Valve will never ask you to send your items over to their account for 'investigating'.

Careful with "attractive girl" profile picture

Yes, they're still around.

I have recently received friend requests from people with profile pictures that are attractive looking girls, saying that they need help with their website or they need someone to test out if this specific website is legitimate. These "girls" usually speak in broken English, or just keep repeating the same question over and over again.

For those of you who are unaware, this is a massive scamming technique that was used quite a while ago, and now almost forgotten, but they have come back. Their main targets are those with decent inventories, and male (because what kind of gentleman doesn't help out a woman... or at least one with a profile picture that has an attractive one in it)

Please do not let this scamming technique fool you, as it can result in a huge loss. Even if you are a kind hearted person and want to help, rejecting and blocking is the best way to go about it.

I just wanted you guys to know that there's still plenty of scammers out and about - stay safe guys

ps. hopefully I didn't sound like some angry virgin who just got scammed a fortune, aggressively smashing away on his keyboard.
