ABOUT Game Buyers Anonymous

Those people with more games than time on their hands.

We're *those* people. You know, the ones that on every huge Steam sale fill up your news feed with odd and random games. We're the ones who when we get asked where we got a specific game, we're not sure but will probably tell you that we at least know we got it for cheap! We're the ones who have over 200 games on their Steam game list, but will occasionally tell you that we're bored and have nothing to play.

And worst of all, we're the people that occasionally say we're going to stop, but never do.

Backloggery!

So, I discovered a site today that I'm using to track all the games I haven't played. It's called 'Backloggery', and it basically allows you to input all your games and mark them as completed, beaten, or unfinished. It takes a bit of time to enter in all the data, but it's quite handy once it's set up.

Sales, sales never change. The end of the year occured pretty much as we had predicted. Too many games, not enough time or money go around. The details are trivial and pointless, as always and the reasons are never clear to even us. Our bank accounts are nearly wiped clean, the great clearance. A spark by Gaben's hand that rages out of control as deals and prices rain from the digital sky.

Time to see how much I spend on games I will probably never play this year. Oh, and happy thanksgiving everyone.

Heh, nice work. I'm sitting at about 55% unfinished right now, which I'd call not too bad. Slowly creeping up to 500 games though...

Alright so, I threw together a quck program to count the games I have in each category, because apparently it would have been way too much effort for valve to implement that...Anyways, my totals are: 63 games finished, 91 games that I've played enough to have an opinion on, 39 games I never intend to play, 6 games I'm working on right now. And a whopping 383 games I've yet to play. Woo...

Missed the exact milestone, but apparently I've broke 800 games now. I think I'll go catagorize my list soon, and see just how bad my never started ratio is.

I spent time categorising my games yesterday. I was feeling pretty good about my "Finished" category... until I saw all the games I've filed under "Haven't started" <_<

I haven't played any of those games recently. I do plan to get to all of the games in my queue eventually, its just taking a while to work through them all. :)
