Firstly I'd like to address the players of my server about whats going on and whats going to happen.

As most of my players are aware of the distributed denial of service attacks that has been going on in the CS:GO fun server community, our servers are unfortunately put on hold till this weekend.

Now you ask, what am I going to do about it? Honestly speaking, nothing. We will try our best to mitigate these attacks however unexpected downtime would surely still happen if the attacks continues as its really costly to pay for third party protection services.

Now,
I'd like to address all community owners to band together and fight against the threat and not at each other. Pointing fingers is no solution, ultimately its the community that suffers.

I'd also urge players to not participate in these attacks as its a direct violation of the computer misuse act (CHAPTER 50A)
"Unauthorised obstruction of use of computer"
7.—(1) Any person who, knowingly and without authority or lawful excuse —
(a)
interferes with, or interrupts or obstructs the lawful use of, a computer; or
(b)
impedes or prevents access to, or impairs the usefulness or effectiveness of, any program or data stored in a computer,
shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable on conviction to a fine not exceeding $10,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 3 years or to both and, in the case of a second or subsequent conviction, to a fine not exceeding $20,000 or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding 5 years or to both."
