Every day, no matter who you are or where you come from, at least 1-2 traders get scammed/sharked/hijacked.

This is a sad fact of trading, and especially so with the new release of unusuals and items.

This group was specially created as a community awareness group, where one can alert others if you have been scammed/sharked/hijacked, or see someone else being hit.

Provide enough proof of what had happened, and if the scammer/sharker/hijacker is selling his items on any trading website, post it right here, and everyone in this group has an obligation to go to the post and post on the trade about the scammer/sharker/hijacker's deeds, and raise awareness so that others will not buy it and a Valve/Trade/SourceOP/Local Trading Website ban can be effected faster

The Owner, Admins and Moderators of this group all have high tier net worths and are active traders in the community, together we ensure that as many traders as possible would be aware of each scam/shark/hijack.

Hacker Surge Alert - Please Read

Recently there has been an unexplained surge in hackers, both on outpost as well as through friend's list adding. There seems to be a return of desperate kids who utilise fake steam websites and Ctrl + C, Ctrl + V methods of claiming that their "Friend" wants to add you but cannot due to "Some Steam Error" and link you to a fake website. Some are more elaborate, making small talk and even some legitamate offers before springing the trap. To safeguard yourself, never accept adds from anyone you don't know or has offered for you.

If you are a constant trader, be weary of random adds. Yes, some are legitamate, but in recent times the chances of a hacker is skyrocketing. Even if it's someone you recognized, they could have already been hacked or am imposted. Make appropriate background checks such as
- Play Time. A trader usually has AT LEAST 100 Hours on TF2
- Steam Service - If the adder does not have ANY badges or only 1-2, it's a red flag.
- Friends - If the trader has only <20 friends, it's a sign but not a definitive giveaway of a hacker
-Rep List- Most hackers help each other by giving each one a fake rep from the other, but these + reps are very forced and try to emphasize that they are legit. If you do take the time to read and analyse them, it will be noticable
- Language use - Majourity of hackers have poor command over language or only use a set number of phrases through botting. Test their abilities by giving random questions or identifying grammatical mistakes in their phrasing

If 2 or more of these signs pop up, its almost certain you've got a hacker. Block him IMMEDIATELY and warn others around you.

I would like sharing some techniques of how they scammed me and I lost 132$ worth of tf2 items
1. They offered helping me find someone who is selling the item
2. They faked and said that he has private profile and wants a middle man
3. He Faked the speaking and said the guy didn't want to add me
4. He got the items to be my middle man and he remove me and blocked me
5. 132$ POOF MAGIC GONE!

This is an awesome group with great players. I got scammed out of a personal high-value of an item for me, but these guys helped me out and got my item back. Can't tahnk this group enough
