The issue is that the game still has to be told to look up those files. That's why a lot of the time people are able to find out about "on disc DLC" is because the base game has reference hook files that point to non-existent DLC files.

Not saying that it's not possible to do it that way, it just still requires decoding the game's code, and making the files in a way that the game expects and can handle. In short, it's not really going to end up being any shorter to make mods, as it still requires all the required knowledge of the game's code base and structure.

At least, that's my understanding of the nature of the game, and Japanese games in general.

There aren't any weapons, just adornments. They don't show up until after you complete the game.

I think the issue is more that this is a modding community, and utilizing cheat engine isn't particularly modding. So, basically, suggesting that people not request mods because there is a simple to use cheat table for the thing that they're asking for, feels against the spirit of the community, in my own personal opinion.

It does not.

The old thread did have some discussion for ideas on where to open up those parts of the game prior to game completion, though. So it may be coming at some point.

The sprite sheets are for making mods, not for installing. They're just the files extracted from the game.

K, I followed the instructions for the new mod, but only the Siegfried garb was unlocked :/ The adornments are nowhere to be seen.

Adornments only show up after you beat the game, as it says in the description.

Liberal use of Chronostasis achieves the same effect. Keep killing things to keep it replenished. I'm already around 34 hours on a first playthrough with 2-3 days to go still, have almost completed every side quest I can find and eliminated several species.

It really seems like an unnecessary and borderline "cheat" mod, to me.

Yeah, have everything set to advanced.
