Here are some helpful tips you might want to know before going into a job...

1. You can change the thermometer reading from Celsius to Fahrenheit in the settings tab(other).

2. If you have a flashlight equipped, you can press T while holding different equipment to allow you to still use your flashlight. (You must have a flashlight equipped)

3. A crucifix does not work by carry it, you must throw it near the ghosts hunting ground. Generally where all the evidence is happening. It will only work in a limited range, 3 meters from where the ghost starts to appear. So carrying it will not save you.

4. An EMF or thermometer is the quickest way to find the ghosts location.

5. All equipment works in hand or after being dropped, as long as it's turned on. Besides the ghostwriting book of course. So you are able to drop the equipment and still use it to get evidence while you go get more equipment from the van when needed.

6. All the objectives on the board are optional. They are just for extra cash and xp. Sometimes what it's asking might not appear, or your team might not have the right equipment available yet to complete the objectives given.

7. Sanity is very important, so keep an eye on it. Sanity can be affected by paranormal activity, staying in the dark, staying alone, or seeing ghosts. Your sanity will never go up on it's own, you must use sanity pills. Sanity also affects when the ghost hunts. The lower the sanity you have, the higher chance the ghost will hunt. The ghost can target the person with the lowest sanity first. So be careful.

8. It might say that ghosts only attack when players are alone but that's not always the case.If a player/players sanity is low enough, or the ghost is angered, it will start hunting. A mix of both will most likely get the ghost to start hunting. (besides a shade)

9. The status board in the van has a lot of important information. It can tell a players sanity, ghost activity, sound activity and any type of ghost detection.

10. Someone staying in the van isn't always a bad idea.They can play an important role in relaying information for the rest of the team. Information such as ghost activity increasing (good indicator it will start hunting soon) and of course sanity levels. They can also set up equipment, such as the video camera and tripod, and take it to the door to reduce down time for the teammates inside the house.

11. The Ouija board can be very helpful, and dangerous. You can ask the spirit questions that may be helpful for your search, such "where are you?" and "how old are you". The downside however, is the players sanity can drop quite a bit the longer they play with the board. Some ghosts will allow players to take no affect while using the board.
