We’re also very happy to be announcing that F1 2016 will feature Multiplayer Championship, a brand new game mode that allows up to 22 players to compete against each other over the course of a season.

This new mode allows you to race as team-mates or to battle it out as different teams, as well as offering great possibilities for league play. Championships are, of course, saveable, so you can fight it out over the course of many weeks.

If you hadn’t heard about F1 2016’s Career Mode already, here’s a bit of a reminder of what’s to come on 19th August: you’ll be able to select your character, helmet and race number that will stay with you throughout your FORMULA ONE™ career. You’ll then be able to choose which of the 11 official teams you want to join, as well as which member of the team will be your team-mate, before taking to the track for the first race of the season. One thing to remember though: the higher ranked teams will have steeper expectations for you!

You’ll also experience the tension of the Formation Lap as you weave to warm your tyres, before facing the drama of the manual race start, where you will have to balance your revs and release the clutch at the right time. Get this wrong and you could jump the start and face a penalty or fail to get away from the line as the anti-stall kicks in!

Race strategy is also vital as you battle your rivals. For Pit Stops, you can choose to have control of the Pit Lane entry, meaning you’ll have to brake at the right time to avoid losing too much time, but also to avoid speeding in the Pit lane. Strategy will be key, especially under Safety Car and Virtual Safety Car conditions.

The action continues off the track and into the Paddock and Hospitality areas. Over the course of the Career, you can decide how you want to upgrade your car, by consulting with the Research and Development Engineer on areas for improvement, and by completing tasks during Practice sessions. Take your team to the top over a number of seasons, or negotiate with your Agent to move between teams and work your way up the grid. F1 2016 releases on 19th August for PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC (DVD), F1 2016 features all the official teams, drivers and circuits from the 2016 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. This includes the thrilling new street circuit in Baku and the Haas F1 team. F1 2016 Limited Edition includes the ‘CAREER BOOSTER’ DLC PACK, which will give players a head start in their career as well as exclusive Career Helmet and Laptop designs.

So it's confirmed that it will be in "Career Mode" random failures ,for example a bad/missed pitstop , or engine fail (with a high chance your race is over),
or gear problems etc. For me it sound very great.


Other good news are that it will give now one more AI difficulty!!! The "Ultimate" difficulty. It's much harder than the Legend AI difficulty. It's really ONLY for hardcore gamers. Between the "Legend" and "Ultimate" AI there will be a time difference from 1-1,5(or 2) seconds. That's a huge time up. Even pro gamers had problems, but we can't say it now ,because they drove with a "standard setup".


Setups , setups,setups...... Yeah ,it was a little bit ♥♥♥♥ in F1 2015,but awesome in F1 2016. There will be more options in the setups. Like the settings now for the "Brakes" . So we can change our "Brake Pressure" and the "Front Brake Bias" . A great thing ,because the we can reduce our lock ups.
And now the "Tyres pressure". In F1 2015 there was not so much PSI like in F1 2016 . In the "Front Tyre Pressure" we can choose between 21,0-25,0 PSI and in the "Rear Tyre Pressure" between 19,5-23,5 PSI . Good to see that Codemasters upgraded it :D

In the practice sessions it will give tests for R&D points ,for upgrading your car. Like tyre wear tests or how clean you can drive your laps!! There is a qualifying pace test too.

Your team mate is your first rival, because he is the 1st driver and you the 2nd driver. When you want to get the 1st driver ,than you have drive faster and cleaner than him ! Or you will lose more and more points.It seems this will be a "training" for you or a "challenge" !!!


So in the race there are points they will be given in between the places 1-10 . Everything under this places are 0 POINTS.
The formation lap is very good for a great start. When you do it perfect ,you can get, when you get a AWESOME manual start ,a start like Sebastian Vettel in Australia !! It's really possible. So it's very good to put the formation lap and manual start on for good start.

In F1 2015 like ♥♥♥♥ , you could drive over it without get a spin . But in F1 2016 the curbs are very dangerous ,especially in Australia/Melbourne !
You should not drive complete over the curb in Melbourn . Ok on some curbs you can drive without have fear about a spin.
And now the track limits . In F1 2015 you could drive away from the track without get grip lose or something else and in F1 2016 you will lose much grip when you leave the track and can spin or you will lose much time ,because your speed goes down. I thing it's very good ,to stop corner cutters. Where I played F1 2015 I was cutting very often ,but I practice very hard and didn't cut anymore.

It will give now 4 damage settings . Off, Reduce, Full and Simulation . Simulation is the new and hardest damage model . YOu can get fast a punture or tyre lose from your car when you crash ! Front wing will you lose very fast too. Sounds awesome

Available from 19th August for PS4, Xbox One and Windows PC (DVD), F1 2016 boasts the most in-depth Career Mode ever seen in the franchise, which allows you to create their own legend over the course of ten seasons. You can select an avatar and number to carry throughout your career, as well as the team you want to start with. You’re able to move between teams, or you can choose to develop a team into a championship contender by working with your Research and Development Engineer and Player Agent to develop your progress. In case you missed the news, there’s going to be a 10 season career mode in F1™ 2016, the official game of the 2016 FIA FORMULA ONE WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP™. A whole 10 seasons! Not only will you be able to pick your own name, you’ll be able to choose your number – the number that will define you throughout your career – as well as being able to single out the helmet for you, and colour it however you choose.

You’ll then be introduced to your Engineer and Agent (featured in the trailer below) in our brand new hospitality areas, both of whom will be your guides throughout your career. Your Engineer will guide you through team upgrades, and will help you spend your valuable Research and Development points, whilst your Agent will advise you on any potential team moves, contract changes and your performance within the team. Make sure you don’t underperform too much though, as she won’t hesitate to tell you when you need to buck your ideas up!


Research and Development

Research and Development points are used to upgrade various parts of your car. In the race to be the best, every point matters. You’ll earn research and development points for every session you do, from practice, to qualifying and the race itself. This means your practice sessions count more than ever. Your points are given based on how you do and what you do – did you meet your team’s objectives for this race, or did you exceed them? There is the option to skip and simulate sessions for those races you just can’t get on with, though keep doing it and you’ll find you’ve less points to spend than you’d like.

Practice Programmes

For the first time, there’s a new and deep practice development programme which mirrors the testing carried out by the teams in real life. You’ll be able to master each circuit with our track acclimatisation, gauge your qualifying pace with our qualification performance tests, test your tyres and fuel management and hone your race strategy to perfection. The more you practice, the more valuable research and development points you’ll earn.

Let’s Go Racing

The most important part of any grand prix weekend is, of course, the race itself. After you’ve made sure your brakes and tyres are at an optimal temperature with the formation lap, your race start is more crucial than ever. Time your start right to launch from the grid perfectly and gain positions, but be wary of jumping the race start!

Fight your way through the field and get the inside track on your rivals with the race strategy you crafted during practice. Keep your wits about you, the remodelled kerbs and and car damage sensitivity (including wheel tethers) could undo your hard work, though make sure you minimise the time lost when pitting with the manual pit lane entry.

Create Your Own Legend

Legends are created in the heat of championship battles. Keep winning races, upgrade your car, take that opportunity to move to the team at the top of their game, or stay in your current one, and take them on the path to glory. However you do it, cement your own legacy on the world of Formula One, and create your own legend.
