ABOUT Exabyte Gaming Community

Exabyte is a soon to be gaming community for generally all games, we plan to start off with a few TF2 servers running off of my own servers. As of today I have a multitude of servers across the world, 2 dedicated in the US 1 dedicated EU, and miscelaneous monster VPS servers strategically placed around the globe.

What does this mean? Well this means Exabyte will have game servers on virtually every continent within a short time. But first, we start with TF2.

What are Exabyte's goals?
We plan to provide a gaming community for everyone, open to the public, no paid admins and no required donations. Once we get our servers up and running we will be on the lookout for people wearing our tag, playing a certain amount of time, and most of all maturity. People that we find to qualify for all these things will be eligible to be an admin on a server of their choosing, no donation required!

Why?
Because all of us have been in other gaming communities and we all know its a pain to have to wait for an admin that only has his or her ability because they pay a certain amount each month, no we say ♥♥♥♥ that. We want REAL admins, real players, real friends... So gtfo with that paying for admin ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥, however we may post up a Donate button for the people that really care and what to donate, but we will never request you to give us money, unless of course your buying something like a steam account.

I look forward to getting this running with everyone who has already agreed to help, you guys know who you are.

Lastly, I bet you're wondering "What does Exabyte mean?"

An exabyte is a unit of information or computer storage equal to one quintillion bytes (short scale). It is commonly abbreviated EB. When used with byte multiples, the unit indicates a power of 1000:
1 EB = 1,000,000,000,000,000,000 B = 1018 bytes = 1 billion gigabytes = 1 million terabytes.

The term exbibyte, using a binary prefix, is used for powers of 1024 bytes.
In principle, the 64-bit microprocessors found in many computers can address 16 exbibytes, or just over 18 exabytes, of memory.
