For those of you who used to enjoy reading my content on Nichegamer, me and my partner Ekaterina (as well as a few friends here on Steam who I've hired as writers) have started our own gaming website, RPGBoss.net.

Just a head's up: Thanks to Weedman, I've realized our curator isn't doing too bad. I decided to take it a bit more seriously and add more games to it (both positive and negative), so if any of you out there want me/us to add something to the group's curator list, let me know.

Also, if you want to do some reviews and feel like contributing to it in a serious way, let me know and I'll hand out admin permissions.

Thanks. This year is promising to be quite the year for RPG. A new Elex game is probably going to come out in six months or so and it promises to be quite the game, if the ending to Elex 1 was any indication. I might make a list of anticipated games if I have the time but in the meanwhile, if you have Fallout: New Vegas, go download "The Frontier" mod. It came out a few days ago and it's essentially a full new game packed into one gigantic mod. Haven't played it yet but the trailers and gameplay snippets so far have been pretty incredible.

I've never played the original but folks say that Nioh 2 improves on the first game in almost every way. It's a souls-like game and that's enough for me to give it a shot.

Sadly, there aren't any major stand-out RPGs right now outside of Cyberpunk. If you liked Diablo back in the day, then Path of Exile recently released a new major update. The devs behind the game do it quite often, though the game is admittedly difficult to get into if you're completely new to it.

We should also get some new RPG announcements soon, but right now I'm waiting for Nioh 2 which is slated to be released on the 5'th of February.
