I don't know who is active anymore, but I am looking for admins to help me restore this community, out of the need for a decent place to play cs_assault. There just aren't a lot of those to choose from anymore.

it is time to let enlightened gamers go.
I've tried a few events, worked on converting us to a blog, but I don't have the time to do this alone, and would prefer not to continue shouldering that burden upon my already trying schedule.
We have had a great run. We outlasted the communities from which we sprang, and our only real problem was that of players and admins losing interest in the game and community. Compared to admin abuses of other CS servers, I would say we accomplished our objective from the standpoint that we defended firmly against tyranny for the entirety of our existence. That is rare.
Unfortunately, the dissolution of our community does tell me that ours was not quite strong enough to compete with other games and more current gaming communities, some of which tend to practice some of the things we rebelled against, but those are the choices made by our players - many of which prefer tyranny to having no place to play. I am sorry that we could not keep our server active enough to be consistent in the latter months. But like I said, we had a good run- as counter strike has died out so have we.
My finances are stretched to their limit, so I will be taking the server offline sometime soon. It has been consistently empty for the most part, and its purpose was for players- not for a legacy... but for players. And the players have left. It is time to clean up and close down.
Thank you all for your contributions to our long ongoing experiment. It has been a great thing, and I hope you take the gained wisdom into your future gaming relationships. I will try and do the same.
Remember this: Don't take ♥♥♥♥ from abusive admins. Treat other players with the utmost respect and dignity. Don't abuse your powers. And climax with passion in all of your gaming endeavors- for the taste of blood and primal combat are the stuff that makes these interactions so worth it. Rush.
