Current Year: 2121

The Earth was left scarred after warfare and nuclear exchange. Much of humanity and Earth's ecology was killed off and the bones of mankind's cities and engineering projects lie crumbling. Governments fled to Mars, taking much of the survivors and space capabilities with them. There are no more treaties, no more United Nations, no more governments of the days gone. Still, of those who still remain on Earth seek to rebuild and re-establish contact with Mars. Or bask in the chaos and destruction since the mid-2080s.
