Rust February update 12

Welcome back once again everyone to our very first rust update of this year looks like a lot has made it in this update and not just the rust Dev's have been busy to thanks to DST Adam to on his work on his new mod that will make it in very soon more on this down below so what has made it in this update you ask.

DST Adam's mod

Yep that's right Adam has been busy with his latest work with his coding skills which most of you have seen the pictures of his work on the discord new Hud system we not to sure if be up and running on the day of the update according to Adam it is soon to be released on to the server.

Last wipes drama

Last wipe had a lot of action as well as a lot of drama if most of you had noticed or been part of no I'm not taking sides and I'm not saying to anyone who deserves what happened to them at the end of the day it's just a game and Rust can be a bit toxic it's just one of those games that depends if you take it serious or not but everyone is still welcome on the server whether they get on or not it's down to them I'd like to say as well but if I have removed anyone from my steam friend I didn't do it because I didn't like them I did it because I just didn't want to be part of the drama it does not mean I can't be friends again or talk to you once again in the future if you want to come back and talk.

Soulkiller ?

Yep that's me so from last wipes drama I've decided not to base with anyone any more from this point on because it causes too much trouble on the server I don't know what to do yet but I am deciding in the future depending on what Adam can do with his mod coding skills I may try to open up a shop or somewhere or to do custom skins for people which if goes well it can't
be raided will be treated like a safe zone and only admins can build their if this gets sorted out that means the rule for change for admins that will no longer be able to raid anybody no matter what which means if a player can't raid an admin then an admin should not be able to raid a player I think that's fair more rules will follow later on depending on the outcome of how Adam can code it up but at the meantime I can still help people on the server if you need help like what admins are supposed to do.

Admin ?

What happened to Tiger being an admin last wipe well there was a lot of moaning and groaning on both sides so I've removed it temporarily till we get the admin mod side fixed up better so admins can actually do their jobs properly rather than abuse the power that most admins always do which I'm sad to say sorry to say but I always take admin very seriously on this server due to the fact that I always put the servers reputation first.

I don't know what time the wipe is going to be but just be ready any time to the DEV's say so ?

When the update hits on steam guys I do have to wait for the Server update as well befor you lot can join it.

It can be 5 10 mins or more it's is also up to the DEV's as well when they give it to most of the Server providers.

Rust January update 11

Hi Guys hope you all had a Happy New Year! and yes it's January again 2019!

We expect Rust will be changing a lot more this year with content and gameplay each month but we'll see how the developers will get on and what they will add to the game for everybody to enjoy.

We look forward to the New Year with everybody; New and Old players alike, and hope you enjoy the server during the oncoming months.

Whats has made it in this wipe

More progress on the Oil Rig monument (not making it in this month though)

Decay

Last wipe we tried having the Decay set to 5% for a week to see how this would impact the server, we tried this as we hoped it would deter huge bases that are unbreachable and help people starting later in the month by giving them the opportunity to raid old bases that had been run down.

Despite this decay has been turned OFF this wipe once again because there was some bugs last wipe with upkeep and some backlash from the community just didn't enjoy the Decay system with it turned on. We may revisit this idea at a later date.

Mod server

Another change we are thinking about is putting the server on the Modded Community Branch this wipe.
This is something Adam and Myself have been talking about it for sometime, this is exciting as this gives us a lot more opportunities for this server to look into; and the community is very welcome to suggest any ideas, although we are looking not to stray too far from vanilla.

As with most changes we are not sure how this might effect the player base but we hope it'll be a positive one and we look forward to taking these steps with you all.

puzzleprefabrespawn

we had a few problems last wipe with the puzzles in the rad towns caused with the electricity update which the developers did try to fix and it seems like when the server resets every time or gets updated it doesn't always auto turn on the puzzles which I have added into the server side not too sure if this is going to be fixed for this wipe but I will keep my eye on it and see how it goes.
