Update On Why The Owner is Gone + Future of the Group

So I noticed that the original owner of the group left and deleted her steam gifts account. I also noticed others were curios about what happened to her hence why I made this post. If you want to know what happened, she left because of personal issues. Sadly I don't think she'll come back and I wish her the best on her future endeavors. As for the future of this group, I'll be honest, I don't know. I myself have my own personal issues for why I could never follow in her footsteps. I understand if you're disappointed or frustrated, especially with me. However, I felt it was best to be completely honest and upfront with you all. If anyone has any thoughts on this or the group let me know. I'd definitely consider passing it on to someone else who could do a better job at handling the group than me. If you want to leave I completely understand. With that all said I wish you all the best and sorry it had to come to this.

So, it's been a few hours since the opening of the group and I'd like to say welcome to everyone here! (again) The size has doubled from the original pre-open numbers...but it's time to crack down on something a bit more serious.

It has been brought to my unfortunate attention that a few of you are in here that shouldn't be and those individuals have been removed and blacklisted accordingly. The group recruitment page on SG has been closed for the time being on an unrelated matter (I was really hungry and wanted to eat lunch lol) but it will reopen later on tonight when I finish being lazy.

This brings me to the next point of this announcement; I'm looking for about 2-3 moderators but willing to promote up to 5 people. The responsibilities are simple:

The first is to accept the people that have passed the requirements check and to deny the people that haven't.
The second is to keep an eye on the group itself and make sure that the rules are being followed.

I thought she previously commented on a giveaway that she was taking some time off. Maybe cuz of health issues. She has been through alot of issues this year. I hope she is alright and will return soon! Can we get some answers from the current Admin or Mod??

Probably without leader and clear rules the group is doomed. After a month only 53 contributors and there are some users that clearly want only to take....
