Dota 2 Community for women/nonbinary players.

Hey everyone,

Rin here! Firstly, thank you all for joining in the past.

As you know I've been trying to get this off the ground for... what, two and a half years now? It obviously hasn't happened proper. The death of the in-client clan and just me being busy af and not really having anything planned all contributed.

However, in recent months, I realized that there's some tools - an app, really - that I felt the effort is worth visiting.

A small group of incredible, driven, talented women and I are working right now towards making a revitalization of this group a reality, with the goals intact, if not stronger than they were before. We share common goals and visions for what a diverse group of women in this game could be, and how we could empower other women and non-binary players within the community. Basically, we want others to discover and re-discover the game and what makes it great in a comfortable environment. We also hope to tackle bigger questions of progress and inclusion in the community.

With that, we're pretty much revamping Artemis into something almost entirely new. New name and mascot, mostly, but also more clarity in what we want to achieve and more of a group effort in terms of getting this going and keeping it running. At the core, of course, will be the same philosophies that brought Artemis to life -- diversity and strength through unity.

We hope to at least have something for you to join by around Sunday, November 20! We'll be recruiting mods and such soon enough too.
