Few words about the beta stage:

Every logged in user receives 1000 VDBM's (our beta currency for bets) for a start and helps us testing the betting system. After the beta is over, the top3 beta testers who gathered the most VDBM's through betting will receive prizes (full list of rewards can be found on the frontpage of dota2bid.com/bets). Hello everybody. Over the past few months we've been working on the betting part of dota2bid.com and now we are almost done. Before we start, we'd like to run a beta testing phase to be sure everything works properly and eventually fix/improve the system, but for this we'll need you, the Dota 2 community, to help us testing it.

The first question that probably pops up for you is why would you need another betting site when we already have Dota2Lounge? Because it's different. Take a look at the most important differences:

• Your bets are matched in real time, which means your possible profit will not increase nor decrease after you already placed a bet on the odds of your choice
  
  
• Ability to place a bet on Dota 2 matches that are already in progress - sounds bizzare? Well, it has been proven to work
  
  
• Ability to bet on single rounds in a serie of best of x games
  
  
• Bet with your Dota2bid.com currency instead of items - its faster and much more flexible. Later you can exchange the currency on the item auction
  
  
• (planned) Bet on special events that we are going to add from time to time for your own entertainment, as an addition to the actual match

Few things about the beta phase:

Each user will receive 1000 VDBM's (a virtual currency of the virtual currency we are using on our website, and it wont be exchangable for Dota 2 items) to start off with. In case you drop below 100 VDBM's, you will be allowed to draw free VDBM's to have a round number of 100 VDBM's on your account so you can bet again. Once the beta come to an end, the top 3 betatesters with the highest VDBM's gathered through betting will be rewarded. Below is the list of rewards:

When the beta phase will come to an end depends on various factors, such as the traffic, graphic layout, amount of bugs to fix and systems to improve. We will let you guys know a few days before we are done.
