Hello! Welcome to the big ol' starving fangroup!

This is a fangroup for the Don't Starve fandom. You can invite your friends who know or own Don't Starve.

If you play Team Fortress 2, you can put a tag that looks like this: [DS]
You don't have to do that though, just if you want to spread the word about Don't Starve.

You can RP in here! Just join the group chat and you'll be able to RP! RP events start up too, if it's a very specific RP storyline.

Every once in a while, the officer will set up a challenge for your Don't Starve gameplay if you have Don't Starve.

RULES

1. Be polite about everything in the group.
2. Don't post up anything inappropiate, whatsoever.
3. Don't ask to be promoted.
4. Have fun surviving!

Serious Problem on Steam

There is this virus going around on steam

The attempt is: If your friend sends you a message that says "WTF Dude?" and then a link to a so called image, thats the virus

If you click the link, and then install the so called "image" onto your computer, the next time you try to chat with a friend it will auto send that message

If you accidently get the virus, here are some tips:

DO NOT log off steam or shut down your computer, this will prevent the hacker from doing harmful damage to your computer files.
I suggest getting Malwarebytes[www.malwarebytes.org] and then running a scan. You have to do this manually.
If you chat with a friend, and then the "WTF Dude" message pops up, tell them not to click the link, and that you have been caught by the virus because of the link.

I'm just trying to warn you, try to warn your friends too

The 30 Day Challenge

You can participate in this challenge if you want, this is completely optional.

In this challenge, you need to survive 30 days in your Don't Starve game.

All you need to do is start a new gamefile, and you're doing the challenge.

EASY - Survive 30 days with any character you want, and do whatever you need to do in your world.

MEDIUM - Survive 30 days with Wilson/Willow without using a Backpack. Use the second world preset, which makes your world "harsher".

HARD - Survive 30 days with Wilson without using a Shovel and a Backpack. Use the second world preset, which makes your world "harsher".

VERY HARD - Survive 30 days with Wendy/Wes without using a Backpack, a Shovel, or a Fire Pit. Use the third world preset called "Lights Out" which makes your world night forever. If you are using Wendy, you cannot use your ghost.

DST: Attempt to survive the harsh wilderness with your friend(s), die trying, become a ghost and spook things around your base, kill your friend(s) by spooking things.

I just got DS together, and I have a question about it. If you are playing Webber, and you befriend spiders, will they attack your friend? Same if your friend has a pig follower.
