Yes, it is happening!

The DUG finally gets back its long awaited private hive server, complete with a whitelist.

While we are setting everything up, we need your DayZ GUID so you can be added to the whitelist. Otherwise, you will not be able to play on the server.

How do I find my DayZ GUID?

To find your GUID, access a random server and type in '#beclient guid' in the chat. Your GUID will appear in the chatterbox in the bottom left corner.

If you are somehow unable to do this, you can also post your Steam profile URL and we will process it to get your GUID.

Let us introduce to you the DUG Developer Sessions! We’re not only keen on providing you a more in-depth experience in-game but also on digging out more perspectives of the game itself. Be it the mechanics, the philosophy or especially the people behind it all: The developers.

Therefore, we will start the DUG Developer Sessions, giving you exclusive access and insight into how DayZ is made, what is currently being worked on and how sitting in the Czech Republic and being a game developer is like.

Right away for our opening, we’re extremely pleased to be able to announce a very special guest to you: No less than Chris Torchia, the DayZ Art Lead himself will hold a DUG exclusive AMA on Thursday the 23rd at around 14:00 GMT here in our /r/dayzunderground subreddit.

This means you will be able to ask Chris your personal questions regarding DayZ, his work and whatever you can come up with.
