This is Steel Cathedral here saying hello to all tea connoisseurs from across the globe.

This curator page is based on my own opinion only. My opinion on a game is based on a simple premise:

If I have the game, Did I enjoy it?
If I have seen the game, Do I like the idea of it?
If I have researched the game/ played the demo to the game, Would I buy it?

EDIT: I had an issue with a dev when I gave Fight N Jokes a negative review. I want everyone to know that if I give a game a negative review, it does NOT mean that the game itself is "bad", it just means that I would not play it or buy it.

Remember: In order to become a Tea Sommelier, all you have to do is follow the page, and if you wish, become a member as well.

As a note there are a few game genres I despise, especially horror (I have enough horrors in my life) that I will not play them or accept them in curator connect any more

I have some news for my Tea Sommeliers

First thing: The bad news:

The Cuppa Tea pages has been struck with a bit of a blow. Yesterday I found out that Steam Reviews/Community rules have changed since I have started my pages almost/about 2 years ago.

Two years ago, it was okay to post links to other content/sites as long as you write a review that actually critiques the game and any DLCs. Doing so helped me create traffic to my Cuppa Tea pages.

NOW the rules have changed and you are no longer allowed to advertise your links even if you write an "actual" and "serious" review for the product.

The only real thing I could actually "try" is advertising on Twitter and maybe that will help, but I don't see that being really helpful on here.

Now the good news:

So, Today at exactly 10am Central Time I finally had enough money saved and purchased the 1TB Steam Deck. What that means is that In a few months I will be able to host a DECENT game giveaway and because the Steam Deck was so expensive, I was able to procure over 69,000 Steam points which puts me at 88,527 points. With that amount, I am able to reopen my Point(less) Giveaway and I will be able to give points again to first time posters until I get to a certain point (40,000 points) so I can have Steam points for the next Seasonal Badge

Closing information in case no one noticed

- March's curator reviews have been finished since February 13th of this month, I just was under so much stress at the time that I forgot to post the announcement

- Cuppa Tea Fancy Storage (The page that was solely for my personally owned games and DLC) has been deleted. I believe that having 3 page was stretching my abilities too far and I basically stopped using it

- Finally, I will be deleting all of my posted meme on my artwork section, except for the few photos and memes that were created by me.

I want to sign off with a huge THANK YOU to all of my Tea Sommeliers that have kept making this past time worth my while.

This announcement is a bit different then the usual announcements
I make on this board, but I want my Tea Sommeliers to know what I have
been up to lately besides not feeling well mentally.

Starting on the 18th of this month, I started regularly posting my Cuppa Tea reviews to games on Twitter (I refuse to call it by it's new name, I am old leave me be lol) as well as Steam. I have discovered that with my Twitter account, I have a lot of interaction with developers then I do just posting on Steam. No, I am not getting rid of my pages here, but I will be using Twitter more often.

On Twitter, I post screenshots and memes, most of which (but not all) are already on my Steam account but I think I should also use Twitter more just for the one-on-one with developers, and I also post on other stuff sometimes and crack jokes here and there (Like tagging Steve Harvey in a picture of Birdie from Street Fighter V).

My instagram is... just there nowadays and people don't really interact there. I am thinking a picture based social network is wrong for something that is about 75% text and 25% image.

That's really about it in the whole Cuppa Tea Reviews world.

I will be posting some links in the comments, a lot of you know them already but the one I will leave here (it is also on the top of the Curator page) is the Twitter page of Cuppa tea reviews.
