The last change for for the Heavy's Electroshock kind of made it wonky. If the heavy is deployed when it's triggered then he is stuck in a state of deployment unable to move much or jump. This likely results from the forced melee aspect of the weapon as the swap is made without the game considering that the heavy is currently undeployed.

The description text for Critical Transmission in the custom weapons menu appears not to have a proper word wrapping or something leaving it to be cut off prematurely.

Jump Action Shotgun:
MvM - Cannot properly upgrade damage. Every attempt leads to a Lv 1/4.

The Electroshock thing is on me, as that was an oversight.

As for the Critical Transmission text, that happens simply because sourcemod menus like the ones we use have a 512 character limit, so some descriptions are too large for the menu to contain.

Why is the Critical Transmition still in the game if there are bugs that are easy to exploit? Why not disable it for normal users, because having mods threaten users with bans because they are affected by the glitch as the heal target is really stupid.

I got the glitch today, simply because the Medic ubered me. Not because I wanted to exploit, but because it was his choice to pick the medigun. If that choice by another person is seriously going to be ban worthy, disable the weapon for donators or mods only and fix it.

When you can't hit the Heavy because he's too fucking fast even when revved up, and especially since the Dalakoh's Bar exists, a damage vulnerability penalty isn't enough.

And I know this because I was using this earlier and went on a 20 killstreak, more than half of those kills gained without a Medic.

So, I want to repost the riot shield idea for the Heavy. I'm well aware that it may not have a good middle ground, I just want to get a bit more input on said idea, especially since I made some changes to it since I last posted it. This'll be the last time, I promise.

The Riot Shield

Replaces the minigun. Primary attack will perform a shield bash, dealing 50 damage and knocking back the affected victim.
Shield has 600 HP. Crits and mini-crits do not affect damage dealt to the shield.

(+) While active: Take minimal damage from the front. Damage not taken is absorbed by the shield.
(+) While put away: Take minimal damage from the back. Damage not taken is absorbed by the shield.
(+) While put away: Can block a backstab, but instantly drains the shield's health. For every 2 health away the shield is from its maximum health the Heavy will take 1 damage. The Spy will not suffer the razorback's stun effect.

(+) While the shield is active you can pick up ammo packs to heal the shield, but for 50% less than the ammo pack is supposed to restore.
A small ammo pack will heal 60SHP (Shield HP), a medium ammo pack will heal 150SHP, and max ammo packs will restore 300SHP.
Ammo packs dropped by enemies will restore 66% less, restoring only 100SHP.

(-) If the shield reaches 0 HP it breaks and you have to pick up ammo to restore it to full HP before you're able to use it again.
(-) Weapons with penetration capabilities will deal full damage to both you and the shield.
(-) Wearer cannot contribute toward objectives (aka cannot capture points, push carts, carry the intelligence briefcase, etc.).
(-) 10-15% Slower movement speed on wearer.

The Bulletproof Battery change has done nothing for balance for the weapon. Arguably, it BUFFED the damn thing assuming its stats were to function perfectly! But no, it got BUFFED so that healing can happen and 600 HP Heavies are a thing. That's the capability that no weapon should hold, and it is still by and large a direct upgrade if constantly revving down, it just has no downsides if you control ALL of them and have the simple act of taking damage REWARD YOU. It just is no fun to fight against 1v1, and ALWAYS is in the enemy's favor.

So if you couldn't tell, the entire set is based on giving the Demoman an alternative to using the Chargin' Targe for survivability by giving him a shitload of survivability through healing on hits and kills, and the sticky launcher further enforces this by giving him increased health gain from his weapons for every kill he gets with the sticky launcher. I guess it makes him more standalone.
I'm not too sure how powerful this set would be all together or individually, because as I said I came up with this just tonight.

The Survival Gear...
Okay, hard-counter weapons to counter hard-counters are not okay. The Spy-Cicle and the Danger Shield are great examples of this. They're not fun to fight against.
But I'm mostly concerned about the combination ability of this with the Bulletproof Battery...

Crafting, are you TRYING to turn the Heavy into a god?

And speaking of the Bulletproof Battery the balance state of that thing basically makes it a direct upgrade from the stock Minigun in almost every situation. Less health from packs and healers while deployed is NOT a downside. Chances are, if the Heavy goes to pick up health or if he has to retreat to get heals from his Medic, he does not have his minigun deployed.

This is not a balanced weapon, this is an example of something that's outright overpowered and needs to get nerfed or removed entirely, as the balance state of this thing has been up in the air since its addition to the Heavy's custom arsenal. By the looks of it there is no middle ground for this weapon, so it's baffling how Crafting hasn't removed it yet.
