Start or Join a CSS Scrim

Since the launch of CSGO it has been more difficult for CSS players and clans to find a scrim or group to play against.


Help clans to find clans to play a CSS scrim and also assists those without a group or clan to find one and play.


This feature is open for usage to all members. This feature is an ideal way of getting a group together as, when used properly, it can be a fantastic resource to do so.

When you are on the group home page, you'll notice that there is a list of events on the right hand side bar. This list the upcoming events that the group is having. You are free to click on any of these events to view the details, leave a comment, and join in.

At the top of the page you have an events tab, this will bring you to the full list of upcoming events. In addition to the functionality that you have on the main page, you can view upcoming events for future months and even create your own! This is the part that we're going to be focusing on.


This feature allows you to tell everyone online that you're interested in playing a game without having to sift through the many, many members. It let's you schedule games for both the near and far future, in twenty minutes, or even immediately!


1. On the events tab, click on Schedule an Event button. This will bring you to a screen that allows you to fill in your event details.

2. Fill out your event details like:

Event Name: 5on5 Looking for a clan to scrim against. // (Or looking for a group to play if you don’t have a clan)
Event Type: Play a Game*** (<--This is very important!)
Game: Counter-Strike: Source
Game Server IP: The IP of your clan server, leave blank if you don’t have one and make sure to mention that in the description box.
Server Password:
Description: Map, skill level, whatever you think others should know.
Start Time: MM/DD/YY or Now.

Be sure to select the Play a Game event type! Input the time that you would like to play and hit Create Event. Steam will automatically send out a notification to all online players once your event time comes around! For example, if I select the Now option others will know that I'm ready to go and looking for a quick match.

That's it! Your event has been created and you're ready to go.

Don't forget to invite all your friends to join the group.
