Civilization IV SteamPlay™

Group of Steam users who want to play their purchased Civilization IV Steam versions on their Macs but can't, even as valve stated that SteamPlay™ games are "purchase-once" and so don't need to be purchased again.

But even if we would want to, we couldn't purchase Civilization IV again, because we "already own it".

according to the user "orpsmorps" in the forums, the problem's solved and the apps should be launching correctly now.

I'm still downloading, however =(

anyway, have fun playing!

according to "dbroudy" in the steam forums, it's downloading an update now.

I still didn't finish downloadint the game at all :(

anyway, I hope, the update will make the game(s) playable for you!

I hope they lower the price of the Civ IV colection soon, I really want it!

It is fixed! I restarted Steam, and everything loads just fine!

I don't think it is, but I had the same problem with the disc version. I have no idea why. Anyone had an experience like that running games? It seems like it may be related to it having opening FMVs?

Is Spore available for Mac via SteamPlay?

I installed the game on my new macbook pro 13" and it won't run! It opens and then immediately closes the app. Same problem happened with spore when I installed that... anyone know why this would be?
