Minionism is a body of religious beliefs and practices launched in September 2015 by American Legend W. Scott Howerton. Howerton initially developed a program of ideas called Minionetics, which was distributed through the Minionetics Foundation.The foundation soon entered bankruptcy, and Howerton lost the rights to his seminal publication Minionetics: The Modern Production of Banannas in 2016. He then recharacterized the subject as a religion and renamed it Minionism, retaining the terminology, doctrines, the Bananna-meter, and the practice of Henchmanism.
