Chimeara that very hard, don't?

Cannonball Dungheap was formed in 2005 or something, inspired by nothing and meaning nothing. Obviously we're a group more focused on having fun than being elitist... Prideful on walking the line, where we are both skilled, but also not douchebags about it.

Our mascot is the majestic Dung Beetle, also known as the Scarab Beetle... so if you don't like the idea of Dung, maybe the whole egyptian thing will make you more keen to the idea.

So as a follow up to the prospects information I posted a few months back, Defiance is out now and a few people are playing that a bit. Marvel Heroes actually is turning out to be a nice looking game and we're all looking forward to this by June 4th. Still not much new info on Neverwinter or ESO so thats neither here nor there.

In recent news, looks like theres a new Sci-Fi mmo on the horizon as well called Wildstar. Its got some interesting looking mechanics and things that are a bit different than most other games we play. Still mostly standard, following the "Look crappy so everyone can play" graphics model similar to WoW, so that may deter some people.

Dear Loyal Members of the Heap! So GW2 might be fun in about a year... but until then it looks like Gamer limbo for most of us. On the horizon I see 2 games of interest to tell you guys about(assuming anyone actually reads this.)

First up: Defiance.
I had some interest in this initially because it 'looked' like it might actually be a TRUE MMOFPS that I'd been looking for, but I didn't get my hopes up. However I was recently invited to alpha test this game, and really is just that. The mechanics of the game seem to function identically to Borderlands, but a bit smoother. Shield/Grenade slots, lots of modifications for guns, tons of gun variety, but with an over the shoulder perspective. Essentially, I feel like its a borderlands/mass effect MMO. The game looks small in its current stage, and I'm not sure how group content will hold up, but its certainly something to kill time with. Its by Trion worlds(guys who did rift.) and its going to have a TV Show tie in on Sci-Fi.

Second: Elder Scrolls Online
Sadly this one isn't predicted to come out until December 2013... however from what I heard from an Alpha player, it sounds like this games MECHANICS are going to be extremely similar to DCUO. Left click for attacks, right click for block, 1-5 for your regular skills, 6 for your 'ultimate' skill, and 7 for a potion slot. This is really the only info I have so far... but its an ES game so you know its got lastability, we'll have to see how it holds up in end game though.

Bonus: Neverwinter
Now, I don't know much about this game.... but its coming out and its free to play.... I'll provide more details assuming anyone asks, if you don't know what Neverwinter is, its a city in Dungeons and Dragons lore and if you're a gamer you're stupid for never hearing about the previous single player games which were essentially sequels from the Baldur's Gate series.

Bonus Bonus: Marvel Heroes Online
Its not an MMO, its an action rpg like Diablo or Path of Exile. You don't make your own heroes, you edit existing ones... basically it sounds exactly like Darkspore, but it could be fun.
