For those wondering why the server hasn't been up for a day, the save got corrupt, and although I have a backup not far in the past, the incident has been the straw that broke the camel's back. Between KLEI constantly breaking things and having to deal with mod compatibilities with frequent game updates that barely change anything but still somehow break things, I've decided to check out of the game. Having done everything there is to do in the game, I barely played and our first crop of regulars have mostly move onto other things as well. The hassle of maintaining the kind of server we had isn't really worth it to me anymore, and I'd rather not half-ass it so I've decided to simply shut it down.

- Locks are now automated, and you are allowed 1 on the surface and another 1 in the caves. Not 2 on the surface 0 in the caves or vice versa, should allow people to maintain a base in each world if they choose.

If you don't have a lock the server will give you one, if you try to get creative to attain more locks the server will correct for this as well. So I wouldn't recommend touching locks that aren't yours.

- Lots more stuff should be respawning, but especially the core resources should be kept about constant. Cleanup of junk and skeletons will happen periodically.

Back and running with a host of new mods/characters/tweaks. Still interested to hear anymore interesting additions. Waiting on some mods to fix crashes before adding as well.

The server will likely be going offline for a while as of this Friday Dec 18, unless I can arrange to have it hosted with an alternate provider. The current server has another primary purpose and will be receiving upgrades/updates over the holidays. We will return in the near future so stay tuned and watch this group for more information.
