Will Black Ops 2 have dedicated servers on PC?

We had it with Black Ops, so the architecture exists. But we haven’t yet announced exactly what that setup is going to be with Black Ops 2. The goal, for us, really, is to… We like the flexibility, just philosophically, of the dedicated server. We also like our game to be played the way we spent the last couple of years making it, and try to find that happy medium between the two. There’s a meta-game that we’ve created here in terms of allowing people to rank up with the experience points and everything. Trying to make sure that people can enjoy that meta-game is important to us too. That’s where we try to strike that balance on Black Ops as much as possible.

Hello everybody, I have a problem: after disc installation (PC version), when I click on COD BO2 icon, the game doesn't start (it does appear a black screenshot). Could you help me, please ? Thanks.

I agree, minus the Directx. I'll just go further and say it's still the same game since the first MW. You guys are paying 60 bucks for expansions of the first game. Seriously, this company is laughing at all of you as you continue to hand them money for the same PoS since the first BO. Just wait for Future Soldier. It already looks 10x better.

HORAY FOR THE SAME RETEXTURED BUILDINGS AND AND RECYCLED ANIMATIONS AND THE SAME ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GAME ENGINE FROM 2004 THAT STILL USES DIRECTX 9.0C!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am sooooooooo glad that I will never purchase another COD game again after black ops. Anyone who is related in making a COD game, SMD. Seriously SMD. If you can make this game directx 11, i will auctualy consider purchasing this game.
