You DO realize that it is not a "Need For Speed" game in the traditional sense?
Is is made by Slightly Mad Studios, who also made games like the Project Cars series, right?
Your opinion of NFS Shift - well that´s YOUR opinion and I would never tell you wrong on that account - BUT - you state that "there is nuch much fun to be had! and that really gerts to me.
The IMMERSION of the driving feel in the game, is second to none. On par with the best of the best, if you ask me.
Are you sure you tried NFS Shift? It is a driving that is meant to be driven in Cockpit view. You lose a lot of the immersion with the other views.
SO - I would recommend people to pick it up, it´s dirt cheap now, and try it our for yourself.
I never took to Shift 2 as much as the first one, by the way. It´s still OK - but does not have the same immense immersive feeling.
AND in the end, it´s only MY opinion of the game(s)
