We are Beatnik Bandits, a community based PvE server on the DayZ Epoch mod for Arma 2 Operation Arrowhead with great FPS, friendly admins and many exciting features in game such as:
-Custom scripted roaming rocker Ai in camo UAZ jeeps, pickup PK's, UH-1H's and MI-17's
-Missions of varying difficulties to cater for all abilities, Camps for some quick cash, Green missions for a slightly larger challenge, Yellow missions for the more experienced player, Red missions for teams to attack, and Black missions for experienced heroes looking for a challenge unlike any other.

Well. If you keep up to date on the forums, you would probably already know that Beatniks has a new home on a slick, new dedicated server. This wouldn't be possible without the support from you guys. Well... the ones who donated. But still, the people that support the server and the admins that keep the server running smoothly.

Here is what the server is running on.
> Intel Xeon 1230
> 16gb RAM
> 120gb SSD
> 100mbps Port
> Windows Server 2008 R2

With this, the server runs faster and is more responsive. Having to trade, access gear, etc. has the time cut down by quite a lot.

The AI are not as bogged down as before, they are more lethal than ever before.

From my experience I have a better connection. Less desync now.

And the best part is the better framerate. I'm getting about 10 more frames off my Macbook Pro 2011... Laugh it up, but soon I should be ordering parts for my new build.

Yes Beatniks, the Vybor Black Mission will be loaded and ready to go today around 1:30 EST. We will only be doing Black Missions as special events on the weekend so come on in and get you some of that adrenaline and gold! Looking forward to seeing you in the game.

Beatnik Bandit's Reunion Day was one of the most fun times I've had on the server in a long time and I didn't even do the Black Mission! Seeing my friends, old and new, hanging out and listening to the chatter of those doing the mission, it just doesn't get anybetter than this! Knowing that this great day lives on thanks to Edge's great video, is the icing on the cake. I don't know how this can be topped. Thanks to all of you that have made these past 2 1/2 so special and exciting for me. <3
