B Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Royal Anglian Regiment

Introduction

The Royal Leicestershire Company is a 'semi-serious' unit representing B Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Royal Anglian Regiment of the British Armed Forces. Through the use of British-realistic weapons, vehicles, and uniforms, with high-quality missions and an organised command and rank structure, we are able to provide an immersive and enjoyable experience to our members. Unlike other units, we do not expect serial levels of discipline, high responsibility or high performance for the individual. We possess a casual and enjoyable gameplay experience, with laughs, banter, and goofy mishaps, playing in various theatres of operation in campaigns, hand- and well made by members in the unit.

Operations

Official operations occur every Wednesday at 19:00 GMT. We use a range of maps, on dynamic 1 to 2 month campaigns. Each mission has something different, and are specifically designed to be comprehensive and realistic, but enjoyable and combat-focused at the same time.

Progression

We have many opportunities for new members to progress and to specialise. We have an dedicated Specialisation and Certification system in place, as well as opportunities for the trial rank of Lance Corporal in order to progress as an NCO. Upon promotion to Private, you can become qualified for the role you want, subject to availability. Whether that is to play as a medic, rifleman, grenadier, AT specialist, pilot, driver... you name it, we have it! With an engaged, friendly community and dedicated staff team, we are a promising, blooming unit that is improving constantly. We invite you!

Requirements

- No age requirement, however a certain level of maturity is a prerequisite. Blatant immaturity or trolling is not tolerated

- No microphone requirement, however use of one is required for responsible positions

- No attendance requirement, however long-term lack of attendance will affect your position in the Company

- One must be willing to accept our Articles of War (Rules and Requirements) to join, displayed on our website and in our Discord
