i have autism and i game constantly. and this article is 100% right. i have played a number of games throughout the years. World of Warcraft, Battlefield 4, multiple Call of Duties, Warframe, and many others. these games have taught me so much. passion, overcoming challenges, teamwork, adjusting and adapting tactics to suit a situation, strategy, community and friends, and many others. they have also taught me a lot of negatives as well and how i have learned from them. corrupt business practices, toxic/scummy people, the dangers of gambling addiction in some games (lootboxes bought with real money counts as gambling) there are pros and cons to everything in the world. and although there are cons to gaming, there are a lot of pros to gaming that can really bring the best in people, especially autistic kids.
