ABOUT Arma Flight School

ARMA Flight School

Flight training for pilots includes lots of classroom instruction as well as actual flying. You will need to learn flight physics, systems, emergency procedures, navigation and the myriad of other skills a pilot needs to know.

The first two Phases will be spent in the classroom and basic flying learning balance, learning all those skills until you reach the required standard. The next stage is IERW, Initial Entry Rotary Wing Course. This is where you begin getting out of the classroom-controlled air space and out onto the flight line.

Your flying training begins in the hanger and on and around the International Air Field on Altis, a large part of the training for the first two phases is to introduce you to your helicopter. You will need to learn the basics of flight before continuing to phase three. The training map will be available for training to all pilots and instructors can be reached for extended training.

Current pilots train in a MH-6 Little Bird. The first steps are called Basic for the first 2-phases, the third phase you will be partnered up with another trainee so you will have a buddy to help navigation through courses. After passing Phase two you will move on to night flying, and the final process will be testing while flying at night with NVG assist.

After graduation of Basic Flight School you will be moved to Qualified Status. At that time you may request or apply to Advanced Transport and Combat Flight Training (TCFT).

Advanced Transport and Combat Flight Training (TCFT) is a 3-PHASE Course that will start with a written test, a verbal test and flight test to makes sure all candidates are ready for the course. This course will teach Advanced Transport Techniques (ATT) and Close Air Support (CAS).

Pilots never stop training. Even though you’re now a qualified pilot, there is always something to learn. Whether it’s a new airframe, instrument, weapon or tactic. You will never be bored as a pilot!

Becoming a military helicopter pilot is a challenging but rewarding in ARMA game play. It offers rare opportunities for adventure and unique experiences, but also carries a number of qualifications. If you want to become a ARMA military helicopter pilot, you must meet all of the qualifications as well as undergo extensive ARMA military training. ARMA Flight School is the place to learn and practice what is needed to support your clan members.
