Yep, that's right! A development that took 3-4 weeks to do. Here it is, an extended mission from the official Campaign of ArmA 3. In relation to DSS, it explains how you woke up in the middle of nowhere.

SITUATION

Welcome back to another season of DSS! This year, the project will resume into a state of more improvements and features. Thanks to the feedback of players, DSS will be undergoing a lot of facelifts and overhauls. The first thing premiered was the RII Engine, a system that is starting development from the Binocular class. It basically shows the item you are using, whether you are drinking, applying or eating the item. The other thing is seeing the brand new database system called iniDBi2, a major improvement to the older version. SITUATION

'Big' update today (well yesterday) that includes some major fixes, add-ins and tweaks to the whole mod. Two awesome things that stand out in the update are the SP Save function, as well as some cool, new Vault animations. I would also like to add that Zed/Vehicle spawning has been patched as well, so you might expect to see a couple more zombies around.

@Side Notes

- Next update is going to be another cool one, as I plan to implement my long awaited MR41 Assault rifle into the mod. Some other features planned at this current time are:

- Adjustable difficulty for Humanity. (Different modes will adjust the time it takes for your hunger and thirst to drop)
- Option for Zed Spawner and Ambient Spawner for zombie difficulty. (Different modes will vary upon damage you take from a zombie)
- Humanity option to turn off HUD and just have plain status messages, like in the DayZ Standalone.
- New humanity HUD item that shows if you are detected or not. (Option will be made to turn that off/on as well. Post processing will also be applied upon that status)
- Blood bag and blood transfer (applies to other players) functionality.
- Desert Eagle (a.k.a Deagle) might be possibly added in this patch, depending on the time it takes to make it.
- Action to save your car so it does not despawn with the town. (Persistent SP Save handling might be also applied to this)

SITUATION

Logo that stays there in a 'BLACK' screen forever, has been fixed (hopefully), so I suggest you guys try it out when you have the chance. Also, a lot of improvements have been made to the DSS Engine itself, one of them is a drastic overhaul of the initialization.
