You did it. You made it through the year, and it's time for the first challenge drawing of the new year. Great job getting this far. You deserve a reward. You deserve a warm hug.

It can be a POV drawing of your favorite katawa calling in for a hug, it can be two katawas hugging, it can be just hugging a nice teddy bear, or you can go full wish fulfillment and draw your cool self-insert OC that's getting a nice hug from a cute girl. Really, you just deserve a nice hug, and drawing one is the next best thing.

It's december, it'll be xmas before the time limit is up, so the theme this time should be obvious. Just draw anything 'chrismassy'. It's very vague, and intentionally so, because what better christmas present than a fairly easy prompt? It can be a whole piece of one of the girls celebrating christmas at home, or you can just draw your favorite katawa in a santa hat, really, anything goes. So to put it formally:
Draw one or more Katawas doing something that fits the holiday spirit
Really, doesn't even need to be christmas if you've got another december holiday you think it'd be fun to draw. Kenji Hannukah, anyone?

Really, it's been a lot more than seven weeks, but uh... Who's counting?
You get two weeks for this next one. And the next one will still be called week 8. Don't overthink these things.
Our prompt this time around:
Draw a Katawa collage, with a minimum of five characters!

Back in the early 10's, homestuck fans had an art challenge they called "100 nepetas". it was simple, just draw the character nepeta 100 times to practice discipline and looseness. We're doing something similar! On a single page, draw a MINIMUM of 5 Katawas! It can be the same character, or a mix of any ones you want. There's only one rule, and that is you can't draw the same pose and angle twice. You gotta mix it up every time. Get creative! Try and really loosen up your art muscles, and try and get used to drawing fast and loose. It's an important skill to have to never get too stiff. And for every katawa you draw after the fifth, you get a bonus kiss and a hug, either from your favorite katawa or from me, depending on your preference.

This weeks challenge is, as you may be able to guess from the title, a comic! Draw minimum two panels (no far side esque single panel comics) of a Katawa doing *something*. It can be dramatic, funny, anything you want. When drawing a comic, it's very important to consider the layout and composition thoroughly before beginning, and remember the limits of the frames. It's more restrictive than you might think at first, but that's also where the fun comes. And if you're up for it, a little dialogue with speech bubbles often goes a long way in bringing some life into things!
