The Ultimate Warm-up / Challenge

What is Zone X?
Zone X is a mod that aims for a highly customizable L4D2 experience, suited to your needs.
The settings can be tweaked during the the pre-round by the "Lobby Leader" which is the first person to use the **!change** command.
The goal is to keep adding more and more settings for you to adjust, while working out bugs and going through your feedback.

Lore
This project started in 2018 and simply didn't get the love it deserved, it went through multiple entire reworks which never really made it go anywhere as I stopped working on it entirely in 2020.

I recently decided to pick the project back up again as I've come to realize I enjoy working on this much more than any other projects in Left 4 Dead 2 that I've worked on.

  • Fixed Survivor Bots targetting failing sometimes due to a calculation mistake.
  • Fixed SI being able to instantly use their abilities again because I removed an important line of code :D.

Zone :X: will be fully reworked in January, as I'll be coding it from the ground up I'll be taking a lot of feedback from members of the community. This means it'll go back to "Alpha" status.
