Guide on how to play custom maps:

If the file is a .exe run it and it'll do the process for you.

If the file is a .zip
1. Search 'Run' in windows, open the app
2. Search appdata in Run.
3. Local -> Activision -> CoDWaW -> mods <- UNZIP files in this folder. All of your maps will end up here.
