We are an Mount&Blade: Warband clan.

The jarls were the most powerfull men in early northern european middleages. Each Jarl was leader of a community and their Protector at the same time. Social and military decisions were in his hand.
In times of special need and war the jarls chose a warlord who had the entire military power.

The houscarls, also called huscarls or huskarls were the best troops of the Jarls. They were rich men from wealthy families and pledged their lives to serve the jarl.
Their name comes from the old english word "Hous" wich means house and the word "Carl" wich means servant.


The nordic warriors were feared for their fearlessness and their blind trust for their jarl. They belonged to a small social gap and were revarded by their lords with land and money.
In the early eighth century many Jarls in skandinavia were in need of money due to many wars.
That was the time, when nordic warriors started to rape and pillage middle european villages and cities.
