One Stellaris game down another to go, thanks to those that particpated.

Scenario

Earth has expanded it and many of the nations of Earth had set up colonies moving away from SOL. Due to a unforunate incident SOL scientist created a Balck Hole in an experiment on Earth and the solar system is no more.

The Colonies, now face the task of suriving the harsh existance of space as well as expanding there own empire.

Aim
Create a more realsitic space simulation with depths and good diplomacy, to allow players to feel ok about attacking each other however give players the chance to keep playing. We should be good for 6-8 weeks of play.

Setup

• This is a Warp only game
  
• Make sure you read the rule on hivemind robots and psonics before making your race.
  
• Make sure you check out all the mods below some really change vanilla, in style

Player Rules

• The game will start promptly at 8pm, members not there in time will have AI play for them, since we so close together take notice of your people reaction to people you do business with. The AI may attack and ally why your away.
  
• Trading will be more realistic there will be no recource dumping of one offs, you can only trade resources with a contract 10 year minimum is the computer default, this will simulate supply ships send minerals on a contract basis.
  
• Diplomacy talk will not be done 'verbally' in game, they will be done via in game messages. However there will be a break at 9.45 for 10 minutes bio and drink break where players can converse in a private channel (not public).

  • Share information about another players, research, fleets, Diplomacy
    
  • Conduct Trade deals and alliances
    
  • Share a players Tech level, Fleet Power, Unity compare to yours
    
  • Talk about monthly income, minerals, unity etc
  You can
  
  • Do all the above via ingame messaging (not public)
    
  • Share anything of your own troubles, experiences, research, fleets, this is treated like a new network (newsfeed) for information or disinformation
    
  • Comment on others newsfeed but please make it limited, make sure you do not break the rules above. EG. "Thats ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is" ok "That is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ because I know you have ..." break rules above
    
  • You can also direct fleet movements and tactical strategies verbally, once in a war.
• Players cannot engage in a Federation with AI or themselves, we can determine a human victory if people wish towards the end of the game.
  
• A player or players can annex no more than a 1/4 of the other players systems in one war.
  
• Players are not allowed to Annex another players captial system, they can make them Protectate/Vassal/Tribuary etc.
  
• Players are not allowed to Protectate/Vassal/Tribuary another player while there is more then 5 systems. A player down to one system might wish to consider finding some allies to take back there systems in the future or ride on the coat tails of larger player.
  
• Players that make themselves HiveMinds, Robots, Psonics become a enemy to Humanity and no other player can ally, trade etc, and they instantly are at odds to all human players. None of the above rules then apply.
  
• Genetic manipulation is allowed, and alien races are allowed to combine with humanity, in line with your empire goals.
  
• Speed will be Normal and Slow if any player is in a war, please take this time when your not in war to really get to know your people and give it flavour in system naming etc.
  
• If a human player drops out the rule above still apply to the AI captial system you cannot intergrate them if they are a vassal. This allows another player to play this person in future.
  
• All players must make sure an AI threat does not wipe out even an enemy player, Humanity survival is at stake, and although your people may hate there government, your people will not take lightly you let another human colony be wiped out please keep this in mind.
  
  Penalty
  
  • A break of this rule anyone can declare a 'point of order' with a vote of the assembly (players of the night) if the point of order is sustained (game is paused). The player must make a donation of 1/4 of their credits or minerals (which ever is higher) to the player your people hate the most, and give back any gained benefits to a wronged player.

Hi guys looking for a group of player to play steallaris one night a week for a big campaign could be either normal or mod like star trek but got to commit to one day a week.

The reason I added this steam group, is for those people who visit the fine TeamSpeak server, as different groups are joining there might be some cross over of people that wish to play games.

Please let people know if there are open games you play in the week, this might be an interest to others. This server is not a clan server or dedicated to one group it just a space for any group to use how they wish, it has a dedicated 100/mb link and at this stage can have up to 50 people on line at once we change this later if needed.

Enjoy and if you need anything particular a permanent space for your group or anything like that please let me or the other administrators know.
