Firstly, I feel that V101 is a module with a unique style of teaching which needed some time to get used to. However, after I was comfortable with the teaching and learning style, I found myself enjoying the module a lot. For example, I was used to answer questions without much thinking like a textbook. This caught me off guard initially when there was a lot of thinking to be done when answering questions in this module. However, when I was comfortable with the teaching and learning style, I find myself enjoying learning more because of the thinking I have been doing. Therefore, I feel that v101 is a unique module with a different way of teaching and learning but is beneficial for the students in the future.

Secondly, I feel that performance values assessment played an important role in this module because there was elements of self-directed learning and experimental learning. For example, when we are doing research online, the information online may be ambiguous. In this case, it is important to clarify our doubts when the information provided online is not clear. Therefore, Performance values assessment played an important role in this module as it helps guide us, the students in times of need and in the future.

Lastly, I feel that the inclusion of Guest Lecturers also played an important role in this module. This is because one of the objectives of this module is to keep us, the students updated with the latest vulnerabilities (Assignment 1). Not only was having industry experts share their experience and information very refreshing, we were able to learning about the latest vulnerabilities from them. For example, during the presentation by Dr Ngair, I learnt about the importance of AI in the security sector. With the use of AI, we can prevent malicious programs which exploits vulnerabilities from entering the system. If not for the guest lecturer, I would not have known this was possible. Therefore, I feel that Guest Lecturers played an important role in this module.

I have learnt alot from V101 and FED. These modules have taught so much about life i could go on for an entire day. For example, these modules have taught me how to persevere through hardships and how to handle people with mental illnesses. Since completeing these modules, i have gone on to be a much better person. You will not regret taking these modules. Keep learning, learning is for life!
