Hello, as a lot of you may already have guessed, and others may not even realise they're still in this group, and maybe, just maybe, some of you don't even care anymore - Mecha and I no longer Broker for TF2.
It's been an incredible journey, but as of recently (well, around the middle, to end, of this year) I've near enough stopped playing TF2 altogether, Mecha still does TF2 but only for tournament.
The journey started on 20/02/2014 when I first started brokering, ever.
And now, on the 23/12/2017, we're offically announcing our retirement, up until this point, we were still taking brokering requests, even though we weren't technically into the game fully, we were still able to sell your stuff, but after much consideration, and a talk with Mecha, we've decided, we're hanging up our hat... and coat.... and bag... and cane... (you get the idea)
It's been fun, but it's time to move on. Put the past behind us, and focus on the future.
Thanks for sticking around, we'll understand if you want to leave the group.
But for those of you who stay, maybe in the future, we'll possibly come back (or post other shit. We'll see what the future brings)

So, I'm making this just so I don't have to re-tell this story each time someone asked me "Where'd RSG go?" or "Why's Shixma so bad?" or "Why's RSG dead?" or whatever.

Ok, so, it started when Nik, Michael, and I joined the RSG Deathrun server, there was a really funny map we used to love all the time, and it was the one (no idea how to explain it, but that one monster which goes through the whole map saying "LETS DO THE FORK IN THE GARBAGE DISPOSAL, DING DING DING DING DING" and so on.)
Anyway, we got to know Shixma (back then, he wasn't a prick, he was actually pretty cool.) and we noticed he was the only admin that was joining his servers, so we asked if we could help him out, and we got admins.
Actually, Nik I can't remember if he got admin or not, but Michael for mod, I got mod, but because back then we wanted to be cheeky and keep "one up'ing" each other, I asked shix for admin, and he gave it to me, then Michael asked for it and gave it to him too, and I was just like "Right, that shit ain't happening." so I asked to be cheeky and go for "HEAD" admin, and he gave it to me, that's how I became head admin of RSG.

**EDIT: Michael's just told me that at the time, he was only given mod, but promised admin (Shixma and Michael made a deal) if he were to make new logos and such for his website, he also at the time was going to make a deathrun map, but after being denied admin after saying about the logo being finished, he said about the deathrun map he was making (he was about half way through it) and then Shixma said he'll agree to adminship if he finishes the map, which Michael didn't want to. (Should point out, he would of been more than happy to, but him being denied once, he'll not want to take the chance again.)**

So, as time passes, a new admin comes about (or should I say, co-owner.) named "Wrabbie", now by this time, we had a trade server, yet we didn't need more admins, so why was Wrabbie made admin you may ask? Well, he donated over £1,000 to Shixma to keep the server running.
(Later you'll find that this gets him out of so much shit.)
Also, around this time, a person named Chris (A.K.A. 'Majestic') became admin.

Now, before we continue the story, let's break down how Wrabbie got this £1,000... This large sum of money became a thing because wrabbie, scammed people. Oh ho ho how this was funny, considering Shixma is willingly allowing wrabbie to be an admin (co-owner) and he ever knew about wrabbie's scamming. - I also found out that Chris was helping wrabbie scam too but putting onto his profiles "Trusted paypal user, I went first, etc etc." you know, the usual scam.

So, a bit more time goes past, a lot of shit goes down, but nothing worth mentioning, but then something happens, I can't remember what exactly, but this was when we were questions to Shixma about wrabbie being a scammer, he said he knew and didn't care he was scamming, as long as it wasn't on his own servers.
Foolishly I thought "Well, I guess that's ok, but I don't like it." Because what can you do when the owner of a group won't do anything. eh?

A bit further down the line, we get some complaints that Wrabbie has scammed someone on the server, this was when I heard that Shixma had banned wrabbie, now, at this point I was like "Right, let's make sure he never comes back." So, what I did was, ban wrabbie's IP as well, Shixma unbanned his IP and his only words were "Let's see what happens"

This was when I really was losing my shit.

Literally the next day, someone new joins the server named "Lunite", and got admin instantly, I wonder who the fuck this is.
Can you guess? If you guessed someone other than Wrabbie, you're a moron. - But, apparently "Lunite" was Shixma's cousin.
Lying prick.

So, after some time, "Lunite" finally came out saying that he was Wrabbie, after enough people on the server, kept calling him Wrabbie. (Shame that Wrabbie can't just be the bigger man and do it himself. Scamming git.)

After a few more weeks, or months had passed (I'm not the best with time frames) Wrabbie decided to start banning a lot of our regulars on our server (which I feel this is when the server started to die), people such as FlameWrecker, Ninjachompah, Skooma Dealer, Shilkwurm, and more.
All of which I managed to get unbanned with some lovely logic.
How did they get banned? They were bad mouthing Shixma because he's a lazy cunt, but apparently that's not allowed to say in front of others on Shixma's server, even though it was never said to Shixma's face.

BUT WAIT! Skooma, bad mouthed Shixma to his face, which is why he was banned, but the reason all the others got banned was because they said it behind Shixma's back, which is how I got them unbanned because it seems unfair to not allowed an opinion on someone (which is actually true.)

Time passes, and we decided to get bots for the server, at the time Mecha (the other owner of this group - Broker Brothers) was learning code at this time, so he offered to make the bots, Shixma said to Mecha that he could have mod if he could do this, and Mecha agreed.
Later, when the bots were nearly done but he had a few problems that he had to fix, he asked Wrabbie to give him mod as the bots were almost finished and ready to get online for RSG, Wrabbie asked Shixma, and Shixma said that he never said that Mecha could had mod...
Mecha was certified mod for making bots for his group, then denied it when it was nearly done...
Mecha never fixed the bots after being screwed over.

Later I got Skooma unbanned because I unbanned him, wrabbie complained at me saying why I unbanned him, I told him that skooma was sorry (which he wasn't) and wrabbie wanted me to get an apology from Skooma in the unban requests, Skooma wouldn't do this because he didn't want to be unbanned if he had to apologise to Shixma, because he's a lazy shit.
So, like the good friend I am, I wrote up his unban request, and Skooma posted it, and he got unbanned (but most of these people, never came back onto the server.)

More time passes, and things were going wrong, it seems Wrabbie and Shixma weren't interested in fixing it, at this time, we founds out that apparently Shixma found his group to be "a hobby" which gives me the excuse to never give a shit about his community, this genuinely pissed me off so much considering HE HAD 700 PEOPLE IN HIS GROUP

So, due to the fact that none of the higher up's wanted to fix anything, Chris (Majestic) decided to request to pay for the server in exchange for being able to edit the server and fix it, and all of this gloriousness.
Shixma agreed, and Chris for promoted.
This didn't work.
Why you ask?
Because Wrabbie.

So, as Chris was owner, he wanted to fixed a few things with Shilkwurm because he was a decently high ranked admin which could fix technical issues. As they were fixing things, they kept being reverted.
We didn't find out until later that it was Equinox reverting these changes (another admin, who still, to this day, is one of the nicer/better admins)
Now you might be thinking, why was he reverting it?
Because wrabbie told him to do so, and he didn't realise it was reverting progress.

Chris eventually got pissed off with these fixes being reverted so he went off to make his own server.
This is where the interesting bit comes in.
Chris found out that shixma was OVER CHARGING HIM to run the servers.
Literally Shixma was scamming Chris out of real money.
How much you may be asking?
Well, considering the cost to run a server was about £20 per server (with the amount of slots that we had) and we had 2 servers, you'd expect Chris to be paying around £40, right?
Wrong. Shixma was changing him DOUBLE the cost, so Chris was paying closer to £80.

Chris didn't like this. So him and Shilkwurm made a plan to take the RSG members from the RSG group, onto his own group which he later made called "Majestic Trade"
Sadly, that server died too because once again, the owner (Chris) became a lazy twat.

So, a bit more time down the line Shilkwurm wanted to make a server too, and came to me to ask if I wanted to co-owner the group, I was happy with the idea and agreed, I came up with the name for the group too "Mint Trading".
Yet once a-fucking-gain the server died because the owner became a lazy twat.
Oh, just how lazy you may ask? Well, the only reason this group existed is because Chris accidently paid for another month on his server, and we borrowed his server for "Mint Trading", and apparently we gave people a "trial period" to see if it would be popular enough to invest in an actual server, which never happened.

So, when this all happened (or as it was all happening) (and by "all this" I mean the creation of Mint Trading) I wanted to make a post on RSG marking it's death months before hand. (Considering literally no one went on anymore, because no one wanted to, the owners ruined the group.)
Shixma kept removing my post.
I added it back on, Shixma removed it again.

At this point, I was like "If you're going to keep removing my stuff, I'll remove yours."
So I went through every single discussion and deleted them all, same with the events, comments, literally everything I had access to.

Later that day I was demoted.

After all the deletions, I decided to re-post my "R.I.P. RSG" thread onto here, Broker Brothers, and it can be viewed here: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/groups/UniqueToUnusual#announcements/detail/108447571439122573

Shilkwurm, Equinox, Systride, myself, and others all tried our best to keep RSG afloat when it was "alive" but there was no helping a sinking ship.

It was like being on the titanic but everyone was grabbing buckets to get the water out, it was pointless.

So, what came about all of this?
Well, all the admins were literally removed by Shixma except for himself, his friend Waffle (which literally never came on the server, except for one time, and he even said himself, he didn't know why he had admin, because he never wanted it), and Wrabbie, which later he left because he had no reason to stay admin anymore.

So, a few days down the line, and I realised I still had access to the RSG Bans website, so I did my magic.
I unbanned every single person, I removed everything, the logo, the descriptions, the other people that had access to the website, everything.

This was the day that RSG was marked and fully dead.
The coffin had already been made, and the nails were already hammered in by Shixma, but I put in the final nail and chucked RSG into the grave.

RSG could of been great, but Shixma had to ruin it.

I've updated my loans page, I'll admit, the prices I did was confusing and I didn't have many prices up there but now, I've updated it, it has more prices, it's a lot more straight forward, and I've updated how much 'tax' goes onto items so now it seems a lot more fair rather than it being a stupid amount of tax to add.

I've finally decided that I'm no longer adding any more higher fees onto my fees price list. I've got up fees all the way up to 200+ Keys, so if you would like an item brokered worth 500, 800, 1000, or higher in keys, there won't be extensions, you'll only be paying the 200+ keys fee price.

If there is anything else I'm able to update or improve, feel free to give suggestions, I'll take them all into consideration, and I'll see what I can implement

I've opened up multiple threads for Mecha and I on Brokering, first I put it on Backpack.tf, now I've put it onto Bazaar.tf, if I put up any more threads anywhere else, I'll be sure to update the list here, I won't be making any *NEW* announcements connected to this, so feel free to check back to this announcement now and again to see if I've put up any new ones.
