United States Marine Corps - Military Police Division

Military Police can tell you to stop harassing a soldier about his personal life and or his family no matter what rank the MP's are. Higher ranks may not tell the MP's to stand down even if they have a high rank and the officer is disrespecting a soldier. Military Police will chew you out for disrespecting anyone and especially a higher rank and if you do not salute sergeants and above when you join the server, you will have 30 secs to do so. MP's handle the riots mostly among people and are taught how to lockdown the facility. MP's should know all the rules, articles, and verdicts. These MP's have permission to come into your house and drag you out if you look suspicious or if you are not reporting on time. Military Police mostly guard the base during training unless they are training, they provide law enforcement on a military installation. They operate the gates and security items. Sometimes they are called into combat.
