ABOUT Tshock Factions Server

ABOUT

You will playthrough and progress with your faction. PvP is always on. You may kill, fight, make deals, trade, perform diplomacy, and so forth with other factions. A faction wins when they are the most powerful, whether that be through land or weaponry. The game is set in the middle ages, so pre-hardmode is the entire universe.

The server does not have 24/7 hosting at the moment, but we are working towards that. To join our current test runs, get in contact with Adventure and follow updates on the group.

FEATURES

Softcore chars will be used unless otherwise voted on. Server-sided-characters is enabled. So everything about your character is stored within the server. This helps minimize cheating or bringing items in or out.

-ssc chars
-pvp always on
-teams are factions
-tshock commands
-/warp is on due to past incidents
-npcs are in the middle (because one faction controlled them all one round)
-softcore chars

Regarding Admin Abuse

A player just informed that some admin abuse occured on the server earlier today, which also explains why my announcement ended up getting deleted. On behalf of the administration team of the server I apologize for this inconvenience and hope you will stick with us until we fully prepare the server for long-term play. :)

I've also made a discussion on the group for reports, so if these things happen again in the future, go there and post about it so we may resolve it ASAP.

Hello everyone!

Yesterday I posted this announcement talking about some changes Adventure and I were considering implementing in the factions server, but someone from the group was brilliant enough to delete it and trash my Suggestions discussion.

Anyway, as I've said I am glad to have the opportunity to work alongside Adventure, and I thank him for giving me officer privileges. We've been working on a document that serves as a sort of overview of ideas and suggestions about everything from server specifications, progression issues, rules, administration, server hosting, and more. It is now complete and you can find it by clicking the linked text below.
