1879, the British Empire knows no bounds, and invades the Zulu Kingdom

Zulus Crushed at Kambula!

After the disasterous defeat on the plateau of Hlobane, our brave soldiers defeated them, aided by their laager and positions. The battle lasted for a few hours, with the cavalry delivering the crippling blow to the Zulu's flanks that shattered them,as the infantry kept the Zulus at bay from surrounding the camp, saving the civilians at the unfortified camp. This battle is considered by many of our generals as the turning point in the Anglo Zulu War.

Defeat at Hlobane!

Tragically, the Zulus have inflicted a defeat upon our men at the plateau of Hlobane. The battle was a rather short one, but a defeat none the less, as the Zulus charged up a slope on the plateau. Thankfully, the defeat was not too major, and our men were more than redeemed in Kambula and Gingindlovu.

Raid on Zululand!

Young, 23 year old Sergeant Edmund has marched straight into the heart of Zululand, and soon enough, were ambushed by the loins of the Zulu army heading towards Hlobane. The Zulus charged at Edmund's men, little more than 10 men strong, in waves, and holding an ammunition depot, defeated 240 Zulus. They spent the next day at a kraal, and two days later, arrived at Kambula during pre battle preparations.

Traitorous Sergeant Hicks Captured!

Once Sergeant, now prisoner, Hicks has been captured, and is being held in a nearby supply depot, 12 miles south of Eshowe. Hicks has been captured deserting from Hlobane, and abandoning our loyal soldiers at Kambula. To make matters even more disturbing, it is now public knowledge that Hicks is indeed a rapist, a thief, a deserter, and a lashed man. The outlaw and rapist Hicks is being held prisoner, and facing charges as serious as long-term imprisonment and even death.

March to Eshowe!

After the battle of Kambula, the Queen's enemy now takes the offensive, and marches to relieve our stranded men at Eshowe. After the victorious battle of Gingindlovu, soldiers and parents rejoice, our reinforcements are expected to lift the siege any day now, tomorrow even. Gingindlovu is indeed the first battle where our new gattling guns from London tore through the Zulu ranks!
