You'll get the minimal ping if you run the game at 60+ FPS (maybe 30 depending on configs). Anything above will have no influence whatsoever; your lag will be 100% from your internet.

However, if you are below 60 (30) FPS, then the lack of processing capabilities will have an influence on how fast you'll send info, resulting in additional lag.
