This is the home for The Nightfall Guard KF2/KF3 clan, created and maintained by Fire Salamander. This community was created so that those who desire to confront the evils of the zed horde together while marching under the TNG banner can do so easily and efficiently.

The clan is constantly monitored and will be updated appropriately to ensure that things run smoothly, and that every clan member has a professional and mature space to call their KF home.

The Third Zed War is Upon Us...

The dawn of a new, bloody war is upon us...

It is has been officially a little over eight and a half years since Killing Floor 2 launched in November of 2016 and brought the second zed war to us that would define those destined for obscurity...and those destined for greatness in the eternal war against the zed horde.

Now, Killing Floor 3 is upon us, and we are once again called to don our courage, our dedication, and our skill like armor, lock and load our guns, and polish our melee weapons to deploy to various killing floors and do chaotic and lethal battle against a meaner, tougher, and more resilient zed horde that is hellbent on destroying the world...all controlled by our former employer, Horzine Incorporated.

We are no longer mercenaries just looking for a paycheck in dosh. We are now specialists under the command of Cordelia Clamely in Nightfall, a rebel faction who seeks to eliminate the zed horde, destroy Horzine, and save the world. But more personally...we are specialists belonging to The Nightfall Guard: a special forces branch of Nightfall that brings particularly effective and powerful zed killing skills to the war. We are not common...we are extraordinary.

Many of us have waited a very long time for the third zed war. Some have treated the Killing Floor franchise like a casual affair over the years, and some of us have dedicated ourselves to these games like they were a part of our gaming religion, a church to which all of us are proudly a part of in some way, shape, or form. I am one of those, as I'm sure some of you are as well.

In saying this, the success and longevity of Killing Floor 3 is very important to us, and we will continue to hold TWI's feet to the fire to ensure they don't go the "greedy company" route, and continue to deliver to us a game that is worthy of their paying customers. My personal experiences with TWI have been horrendous over the years and I hate this video game development studio with a passion but god*amn it, I love their games. Certainly a love/hate relationship. I didn't pay them for Killing Floor 3 because I love them...I did it because I love this franchise and all of my people who have decided to befriend me and follow me into battle.

And to me, that is what the zed war is all about, and I'm honored to have all of you with me, those who have decided to follow me into war, whether you are reserve or active. We will hold each other up, and achieve victory together.

The eve of battle is upon us, and it is time for a new war. God knows we're ready for this, and settled in for the long haul. If KF2's shelf life is any indication, this war will last for at least eight years. Plenty of time for the obscure to become legend. If you failed to find your magic in KF2, then here's hoping you find it in KF3. God speed everyone...

Just One Week...

Alright guys, we're just one week out from the official launch of Killing Floor 3, with the red-letter day being July 24th, 2025. It's been a long road of patience that we've all had to endure to get to this point, but the wait is finally just about over. I feel like there should be some kind of celebratory speech or something similar that I should be making right about now, but to be honest, this kind of feels surreal, and with everything that we've seen so far with the Closed Beta of the game back in February, and now with a few of these recent "stress tests" over the last week...I have to admit, my positive feelings about KF3 are overshadowed by doubt and worry.

I think we've seen that the game has come leaps and bounds since that terrible Closed Beta four months ago, but the "stress tests" were plagued with bad optimization issues, and naysayers are lighting up the game's official forums like a badly arranged Christmas Tree. Tripwire has done very poorly when it comes down to their image with this game, and they really only have themselves to blame.

But a salamander tries to stay positive, and of course, I will be there on day one come hell or high water to lead our clan into the third zed war regardless of how rough the game is on launch. I'm not going to try to talk a lot of you into buying the game if you feel doubtful when it comes down to Tripwire's ability to smooth out the experience in due time, but I do just want to say this: Killing Floor 2 was in pretty rough shape when it launched, and it ended up being one of the greatest PvE co-op horde shooters to ever exist. Just food for thought, you know?

Anyways, it's coming, people...and The Nightfall Guard must be ready to deploy with standard Nightfall specialists as we ride that V-TOL into new experiences that will take place on new killing floors. May we forever walk in the light of greatness...and hope that poor optimization doesn't dim our light. See you guys on the killing floor...and see you next battle.
