The penitentiary of American serfdom's foundation has been laid with the passage of this bill. This bill will set in place everlasting debt that will enslave the republic. This bill criminalizes those who choose not to have health insurance and will penalize them, creating yet even more debt via the detention of otherwise innocent criminals whereupon the only retribution is even more taxation. The Tea Party has put forth its efforts to petition the government and repeal the bill. It is my firm presentiment that this bill produces an unprecedented abdication of personal liberty and severely transgresses the fundamental American rule, that YOU are RESPONSIBLE for YOURSELF, and that all help rendered unto you is through the kindness and generosity of your fellow man. You are entitled to nothing, you are NOT entitled to happiness, you are entitled to the “PERSUIT, of happiness”. This is not the answer to affordable health insurance. Legislature mandating the obligatory enrollment of health insurance is unnecessary and should be unlawful. Let the constitution speak for itself.
