Tonight/tomorrow morning will see a new Rust update and we are using this time to finally do the server merge!
The server will be called Rustralasia and both Lucifer and Good Guy Dave will be admins.
We have been looking forward to this merge for a long time now and this only means great things for you as players.

We also have big plans for the website but more on that later once we find out if we can pull it off or not.

It has been awhile since I last talked about what’s happening with the server side of things so I thought now would be a great time to talk about it.
Tomorrow I should have the parts for our massive server upgrade!! I’m really hoping to have this up and running in time for the next big Rust update but we shall see how things turn out.

Hey everyone!
Thought I would fill you guys and girls on my plans to upgrade the server.
Right now the server side of Rust tends to hit the first CPU core the most and hardly touches the other CPU cores. This is an issue because I’m using server grade CPUs which run at a lower frequency (2.5GHz).

So how am I going to get better performance out of Rust?
Well pretty much hit it with lots of CPU power and a better network card. Here are the planned specs below:

I had such high hopes for this update but sadly things have gone to ♥♥♥♥.
all major server are having problems with high CPU usage/crashes and or mass kicks.

for now im keeping the server offline untill things are fixed.

i hope to get things up and running soon but for now i can use this time to make any needed improvement to the server.
