Installation Guide: Joint OP Repo

All,

I have provided a condensed version of instructions below for the event on Thursday. I have no doubt there will be issues in setup. Lend me some patience as this is a great opporunity to get a higher player count, learn some new things about Arma, and have fun.

If you run into issues and want help during setup, I would be happy to do so. If you see me on steam at anytime, I will be available, regardless of what I am playing.

Please do not wait until 8:00 PM EST on Thursday to setup, as I will not be available to help.

1) Subscribe to Bozcaada
2) Launch ARMA 3 from steam until you get to bohemia's launcher.
3) Close ARMA 3 launcher. Bozcaada is now in your mod folders.

A3Sync will ask for your path to ARMA on first startup. Typically should like something like below:
ex. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma 3\arma3_x64.exe

1) Open A3Sync
2) Navigate the repositories tab
3) Select "Add a new Repository"
4) Copy this into the "Public auto-config url":
http://testarma.site.nfoservers.com/testbaserepo/.a3s/autoconfig
5) Click the "import" button.
6) Click ok to finish

Keep in mind this is the only repository necessary.
----DO NOT DOWNLOAD ANY OTHER REPO----

1) Navigate to the repositories tab
2) Select the Base Repo
3) Press connect to repo button to the right
4) Ensure your default directory is mapped to the arma 3 game folder:
ex. C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Arma
5) Select "Select All"
6) Select "Download Addons" (should be ~800MB)
7) IGNORE ANY PROMPT TO UPDATE TFAR
8) Wait for installation to complete

1) Launch A3Sync
2) Select the "Addons" Tab
3) Click on the "modsets" button on the upper right
4) Check the Base Repo and hit ok
5) In the "Addons Optioons" tab, select @CBA_A3 and from the "Addon priorities" box click the uparrow until it is at the top.
6) On the left panel of the "Addons" tab, open the !workshop folder and drag @Bozcaada to the right side (it will now reside in the Base Repo)

Make sure the Base Repo is checked and click start game from A3 Sync.
