Originally for "Day 1" players of Takedown:Red Sabre, we are now a public group open to anyone who plays Takedown, so we can get together and play!

You are welcome to use our Chat in order to communicate in game with others in the group, and you are encouraged to invite others you play with so that they may do the same.

However, this group page is not to be used to "bash" the game, nor is it a place to report bugs. Anyone caught trying to "flame" will be given a warning, and then promptly removed from the group upon the next offense.

In the continued interest of building a strong community for this game, I have made our group public. So if you ever play Takedown and wish there was an easy way to communicate with other players, join this group! Feel free to use our chat for in-game communication, and tell people you meet in-game to do the same! However, keep in mind that anyone who wants to use this group to talk about why they deserve a refund or any of that nonsense, you will be removed from the group. We all know that the game is not yet perfected, but there are plenty of other places for you to talk about how that makes you feel. This is not the place. As always, good luck and have fun!

[GUIDE]Joining Servers
Included in TAKEDOWN: Red Sabre Hotfix Update #1, we enabled the built in Steam browser as a temporary solution to the server browser issues. To ensure proper use, first open TAKEDOWN: Red Sabre. While in the game menu, press ALT+TAB to minimize the game. Now open your steam client and navigate to View > Servers. This is the built in server browser.

In order to see servers, you will have to set a Game Filter, found in the bottom left corner. Select Takedown: Red Sabre from the list to display servers. Now you are able to connect to servers. If the connect doesn’t work it is likely that the server is full.

Currently a player count isn’t there so it is normal to see all the servers listed as 0/12, we are working to address this issue.

If you experience any difficulty in having your server appear in the browser, please ensure all ports are open:

UDP/TCP

27000-27050
7777-7778


In addition, make sure your antivirus or firewall software is not blocking the game .exe in order to ensure connectivity (you may be prompted again after the last update as the .exe has been modified). These files are located in

Add me if u wanna play online mode on this game, ( they might as well update it so it would be free to play, and common like can I eveb jump in the game cause apparently I couldn't find the dayum jump button)

Im not gonna bash the game because I havn't given up on it but I am indeed disappointed with the title so far. However, until they are able to sort out the issues with Takedown, a decent game most people in this group would enjoy is "Insurgency." It has just moved to beta but is extremely fun and calls for teamwork! I have a group going that is active with Tactical/Military Reference games and invite everyone to check it out! Group is called "Joint Task Force International" Game on!

Heisenberg, please elaborate when you post things like that. This isn't really the place for that sort of comment anyway, because everyone in this group has already bought the game.
